cdt76 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) I met a girl last May. She was younger than me be several years. She was pregnant at the time (not mine). She lived in the city I had just moved from, which is 4 hours away by car, and just started a 6 month lease. Half way through, I brought up that I was in love and wanted to go to the next level and have her move in with me. She wasn't working and other than family no strings keeping her tied down. She said that at the end of the lease or near it we could talk about her moving here. Well closer and closer the lease end came and she would avoid talking to me about after wards. Well the day came and she informed me that if it was ok, then she would stay with me for 3 weeks until her girlfriend closed on a house and she would move in with her. This did not sit well at all. Not even a little bit. But I thought if I showed her how much I cared that she would see that my city is awesome and lots to offer. I even had her a great job offer in a week (which she turned down). So she got here along with 2 car loads of clothes and immediately became depressed and upset. She wouldn't talk about why. Then I asked her what her goal was to achieve at the end of the year and she stated she wanted an apartment for her and the baby. Strike 2. So I began to see clearly that she wanted no plans on being with me in the future. We had a discussion about it that night. I spoke a lot and she didn't and the next day she headed back to her home city. That night she tells me her other friend will put her up until the house is purchased. I told her that's fine, she can come get her things and we are done. Then limited contact for 6 days. Trying to get her to tell me why she won't take the next step. Finally today she tells me while she is driving here to get her things. I can't pay for her bills and she doesn't like my city. Well, great. So now I'm pissed because she is a gold digger and ungrateful. I just want to scream! I don't want her in my place without me being there but I don't want to see her either. I think I want to make it as uncomfortable for her as possible though and sit there while she cleans everything out. And I had even gone out and bought an engagement ring. Wow...
