aussietigerwolf Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I have a coffee date with a 25 yr old Italian guy and I have no idea what to do on a coffee date .
TaraMaiden Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Order a cappuccino, with chocolate sprinkled, and maybe a pastry. Anything else?
EasyHeart Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Maybe a biscotti? And you could try talking to him.
the_entertainer1 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I had a coffee date 2 weeks ago. I was so nervous, but it was fine and we have our 4th date later this week. We met out the front. Greeted each other with a hug, even though we'd never officially met before. He asked what I wanted to drink and he ordered while I got us a table. I asked for an iced chocolate - partly because it was a hot day, and they're my favourite drink, but also because coffee doesn't smell that great on your breath ... I was conscious of the fact that he might try to kiss me ... Anyway, we sat outside because it was a nice day. I offered to give him money to pay for my drink, but he paid for both our drinks. Before the date, I'd only thought it would go for about an hour, but we ended up spending 3 hours together. We had a coffee, then went for a walk, and ended up going to a pub for a drink (he paid for both our drinks again, despite me offering to). We talked about a whole bunch of stuff including the holidays, bands, jobs, movies, sports, our families, travel. The 'usual' stuff, I guess. Afterwards, he walked me to my car, didn't try to kiss me, but hugged me goodbye and asked if I'd like to catch up again. Hope this helps! 1
rocketman122 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I have a coffee date with a 25 yr old Italian guy and I have no idea what to do on a coffee date . think of it as an investigation. you ask, he asks. first meeting is to gauge and see if there's any potential. I never did a coffee date. always sushi. I always filtered them on phone. my intuition is very sharp. I can tell in 5-10 minutes if theres any point to continue. if youre nervous thats just fine. it will seem much more genuine than acting cool and collected. I love it when the women get nervous/tense. I always make them feel calm. my dirty jokes breaks the ice real quick.
GirlontheLam Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 1. Meet 2. Get a beverage 3. Ask questions 4. Listen 5. Talk 6. Have fun 7. Repeat as needed.
Imported Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Do you guys have Starbucks in Australia? And if so, how do you keep all the dingos and huge poisoness spiders out?

TaraMaiden Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 OMG!!! You can't just leave it hanging like that! That is soooo unfair! Did you have a cappuccino? A latte? A mocha? Any pastries?? What did HE have - ?!? I think we should be told!! Glad it went so well for you!
Author aussietigerwolf Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 He touched me on the shoulder first and then kept on touching me on the leg
Mr_Flay Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 He touched me on the shoulder first and then kept on touching me on the leg The way you wrote that without any context makes it sound so creepy. I'm sure it actually wasn't.
Author aussietigerwolf Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 The way you wrote that without any context makes it sound so creepy. I'm sure it actually wasn't. Lol we were sitting next to each other and talking about stuff when he started leaning towards me and touched my arm and then my leg a few times
Cutiepie1976 Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Yes! Did he lean in and touch those too? Inquiring minds want to know. Does he have a "type" in pastries or will any old sweet do the trick? Anyway, sounds like a great date. Seems you two really hit it off. Thanks for the update!
