We were just exchanging emails and had no transitioned to the phone yet. So I gave her my number on Friday and thought she would call over the weekend but she sends me another message on the site asking...."How was your weekend?

 

So I asked her what happened to the call and she asked did I want to chat on IM. So since I have gmail I decided to let her know my real name which I already planned to once we talked on the phone.

 

 

So she gets mad and says HUH?? Why would u tell me a fake name? I told her I never give my real number until we talk offline. So this weirdo decided to no longer chat with me which is beyond retarded

I ALWAYS give my real name, online or otherwise. This name, monicaelise, is my name, Monica Elise. The photo in my avatar and those in my albums are of me. Why someone would want to start from a position of deception is beyond me. It's one thing to have a cute nick, but to intentionally go out of your way to deceive people you're trying to meet in real life makes absolutely no sense to me. I give my first name after several messages back and forth. I've never heard of making up a name, although I was only on OLD very briefly a while back.
