Hi, I'm new here and I have a weird situation;I have known my friend since high school And lost touch. We reconnected via social media over a year ago. After some medical problems, I finally asked her out to coffee, she agreed. Since then, we are best friends. We go to dinner and movies, talk EVERYDAY and hang out, but I never made my intentions clear. Christmas has past, I got her some small presents and pay for dinners, all while being subtle, not bold. About a week ago, she went out with a friend and met a "cool guy" and they have hung a few times. Her is my question: how can I tell her how I feel with another guy in the picture? Do I go for it? Do I let this play out? I do not want to get "friend zoned" completely! I'm not the greatest at this stuff. Thanks again

You might be up **** creek here. You took a long time to mention your feelings for her. It can't hurt to bring up how you feel, but given she is talking with someone else and I assume hasn't made much of a move toward you it may not go well

That's what confuses me though. I just about did everything, BUT say it. I've invited over to my place for dinner and a movie or to even hang out.(change of scenery) I've visited her at work with coffee and snacks. Yet, I guess I'm afraid to say anything. That in turn, could potentially ruin a friendship, but I'd at least know. I doubt it would, but that's where I need help. I'm attempting to hang out with her again, should I just say something? Thanks again for the reply :)

I'd go with no, but I'd let some women weigh in
