Why do you assume that my beauty has faded? Why would that even matter to the discussion if it had? What does my beauty, or lack of, or faded beauty have to do with the merit of my opinion?

It's "fairly" normal for a young but legal female to muse on an older man if he seems handsome, dashing and not just old. Going so far as to get involved with him when he may have children your age is less frequent unless the guy drinks Dos Exxquis and own Argentina. Stay thirsty my friends.
