What is the female perception of male ear piercing on LS?

Studs or Plugs?

I personally have studs and will not get plugs because

1) I do not personally like them

2)Future job will most likely judge me and possibly not hire me because of that

In the other direction: As bad as tattoos on women.

(Look and see how bad Bruce Jenner looks w his earrings - like a pansy).

Never have I been attracted to a guy because of an ear piercing I have asked guys to take them out.I actually dont think it looks good but that is my bias. The guys i dated didn't mind removing them adn i didnt force them I merely suggested they got in the way......;0).

I prefer plugs to regular ear piercings. But I myself have large plugs so I suppose I am biased.

I don't have a problem with plugs or piercings (though they do strike me as a bit odd on a man over 30 and realllly odd on a guy over 40), but I would highly recommend you consider removing whatever is in your head if they'll get in the way of securing a job. I don't think most women really give a poop about something as small as an earring. It's not like you'll be cutting off dating options by removing them/it.

(Tattoos on the other hand, I just love. They're one of the few things on a man that will actually catch my eye and make me stop to evaluate the rest of the package. The bigger, the better...*sigh*.)

I have no problem with men wearing earrings.

I think men with pierced ears look ridiculous. I don't care if its one ear, both ears, studs, plugs, or whatever..... it all looks ridiculous.

It is quite interesting on these different views of male ear piercings.

If you could also post you age or generation it would help.

I find that the more recent generations (mine) from the 90's generally accept the male ear piercing while my grandparents and parents think they are homosexual.

I'm 36 and don't like any kind of earrings on my man.

Me:30s

Think studs look like a pansy (except maybe on rappers?) I'm envisioning those tiny little diamond studs. Just no.

Plugs are not attractive to me personally (maybe 15yrs ago on the tattoo artist?) but I don't think they are offensive if it goes with the rest of the look, but not past 40s.
