Catplates Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Pierre recently referred to FOO. Can anybody enlighten me please? Cat.
Got it Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I don't know why but that term drives me batty. What happened to just saying childhood, etc. FOO. Just is weird to me. Like we have different families. To me it is all one family, just evolves, grows, etc. based on new lives, new partnerships, and passing lives. Sorry, t/j, just a weird pet peeve.
Author Catplates Posted January 12, 2013 Author Posted January 12, 2013 I agree. I had to look it up the first time I saw it, even after someone told me what it mean, I was like.. huh? what? It sounds a bit like a Japanese martial arts move.
Spark1111 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 FOO is also another term for memes in the family. Our families play a HUGE role in our development as people. And how we attaché to others, how we give and receive love, what attracts us to certain people......and why. it is a strange term, but not all that is good or bad that shapes these areas happen in childhood. there is huge psychosexual development t that happens in adolescence too. family or origin covers all our stages of development. FOO does sound like a bad martial arts film.
