third message on dating sites

Two weeks now on a dating site. I have been in a conversation with several girls but they are being difficult to go out on a date with. Basically, I send a message to girls I am attracted to asking them if they would like to go out for a drink. This one girl sends me message saying "you have to convince me better than that". Thats on the third email to me. I already told her what I do for a living. And what I enjoy doing in a previous conversation. I told her I like the outdoors and blah blah. What should I say now? What does she mean by that?

She means she wants to know you a little better before going out on a date with you. Get to know what kind of guy you are. I know you may be thinking that that is what the date is for, and you're right, but she probably is saying that because she'd feel more comfortable going on a date with you if she knew you a little better. I'd say just exchange a few more emails back and forth, just general stuff, then ask again.

If you know she works at ____ then ask her how work was. If something funny/interesting happened to you at work, tell her in a reply. Things like that.

One thing that I used to like was when I quoted a movie and they guy knew what movie I was talking about and proved it by using another quote from the same movie in his message to me.

You can ask about her job, what she does in her free time, if she's ever been on any nice vacations, interests (movies, books, music, places). Start off with general stuff like that.
