teaforone Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 There's a guy i've known since 1st grade (m/26 and i'm f/25), recently we started talking more. The past 2 nights we've texted for 2-2.5 hours each! I personally don't even text that long with my friends, at the most 30 minutes. At the end of one of our conversations he told me to feel free to talk to him anytime. I was actually a little worried i might annoy him with my texts but he told me not to worry, i couldn't annoy him. I'm a little confused though, is this just a friends thing? Is he just being nice? Because he's not texted me since the first time we talked even though i told him he could text me too whenever. What's the right level of talking time to not become an annoyance?
Toddbt12y1 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 If he told you to talk to him as much as you liked talk to him. It might become something. .never know till you try.
carhill Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 What's the right level of talking time to not become an annoyance? You've asked him and received his answer, hence you can decide what is, within that answer, healthy for yourself, and then act on that. What does it mean? It means you're texting for 2-2.5 hours. If he wanted to press flesh on a date or see a movie with you as a friend, he has the ability to broach those subjects. What does it mean to you? What do you want?
