well he is my current bf. but he wishes id be into his gaming. he gets home from work and will sit there for hourrrrsssss on EverQuest or whatever its called. He gets up in the morning and he sits there again for an hour or so :laugh: I was like Dude... Doesnt your brain hurt from playing the same game?

Most guys would not care what's in your profile. They will look at your picture and determine weather or not to message you based on subjective attraction.

 

I don't know, a nice picture might entice me to look at the rest of the profile, but if it read like this one, no thanks. I couldn't be in this girl's presence for more than 5 seconds even if she looked like a Victoria's Secret model.

 

A mentality that's way too prevalent in our society: "If you feel like a princess, then you are one." Ugh.

Ick, seriously. And if he's still playing EQ, he really needs to get with the program and start playing Borderlands 2, or GW2 if he's really into MMOs. Geez...

 

No, don't get into it if you're not interested in it. LOL I just hope he doesn't ignore you to play the game. :p

I actually don't think you guys should be trying to discourage the OP from posting that. At least she's being honest, and that'll save the guys who look at her profile a helluva lot of time and pain. If any guy is happy to date a self-proclaimed 'princess' just because she's hot... hey, that's on him. Can't say she didn't warn him. :p

I do like white guys but the woman who wrote this is white, that's probably why she said "I'm not racist" I don't write my racial preference in my profile because it limits the messages I get.

If I came across that profile, no matter how hot she is, I wouldn't bother. She comes off like a huge pain in the a--.

 

A girl who strings guys along, uses them for validation, ego boost, dinners, etc... while playing a game on multiple guys all at once.

 

Of course, if she's really hot, there will be plenty of guys willing to take a shot and hope to score.

Just take the iniative and message the guys first. That way you can choose who talks to you.

I cant stare at that screen of his for more than 2 minutes without getting a headache. He has a job... or he would be very very single.

Oh he ignores everyone to play. its the only problem in our relationship.

Also I am not a gamer but I enjoy open world games like Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption and I only play them in the winter.

Where I live it is dead in the winter and is really dead this winter so I make do with some electronic entertainment. Once the sun is out though I am out as well.

She sounds like a horrible person from how she presents herself there, and not especially intelligent. Would you date a guy with a profile like that? I think it's fair to hold your profile to the standards you expect even if pretty pictures mean more online.

Ah its cool, He games to unstress but if i want to do something, He knows better than to even say no. If he knows he has a responsobilities he will pause to do whatever it is that he has to get done. Hey its better than being with a lazy couch potatoe! lol

I'm a gamer girl myself (omg Skyrim), but I've never dated a gamer guy. Perhaps I haven't found the right one yet, but most of the gamer guys I've ever met (high school, college, after college) tend to be rather lazy and unmotivated, which are huge turn-offs for me. I love my games and my PS3, but they're not my life, and I find way too many guys make gaming their life.

 

My ex was a pretty casual player, and we got into so many fights during games XD It would sound like this:

 

Me: You have to get a running start if you're gonna make that jump

Him: Yeah, I know

Me: But you're not running. Here, press this button

Him: I've been trying it like that

Me: Here, let me do it

Him: No, I can do it

*character dies trying to jump over cliff. He sighs and hands me controller*
