Should I be very reserved in approaching a girl at her workplace?

I work at our mall's Tim Hortons, needless to say it's the busiest location in the building, always lots of customers. I'm actually pretty good at my job and manage to stay well ahead of par for speed, so I often find myself having time for small conversations with customers when I feel like it.

 

Anyway, there's this girl who has been a familiar face for at least a few months, I never really talked to her before aside from simply taking her orders, but yesterday I struck up a bit of small talk with her. I found myself actually a bit interested in her, managed to find out her workplace even though she wasn't in uniform yet. She works at a little food kiosk on the opposite end of the mall away from the food court.

 

After my shift ended I decided to take the long route back to my car, taking me past her little stand. I saw her at a distance, she was serving some customers with her back turned away from me. Then something odd happened as I came closer, she turned and looked right at me. The aisles in our mall are quite wide, so I was probably a solid 25 feet away when she looked at me. Often times I have a shy reflex that makes me shift my eyes away before somebody makes eye contact, but this time I didn't adjust my gaze, I looked right at her, smiled, waved and went on my way. I think I recall her smiling back.

 

At any rate, I'm hoping to see her again soon, but I'm kind of tempted to just visit her at her place instead. I always have to be very careful at my place when flirting as there are so many people who could overhear and embarrass the girl I'm talking to, but most of the time she's not serving anybody as far as I can gather. Just I'm wary of approaching girls at their workplace as it can makes things difficult for them as they have to be nice to all customers about everything.

 

I just wish I could find her Facebook profile or something, get some basic info on her to start out with. I happen to know the name of another girl she works with as I stumbled upon her Facebook by accident some months ago, but I don't see anybody resembling her on her friend's list.
