Ive put up with so much already though and my mother keeps trying to pressure me to stay with him. He has never put effort in to the relationship , in my eyes.and yet he also wants to marry me too i mean i think thats psycho..... On our "DATES"he would always take me to the liquor to buy ships and a drink thats not even a date ...... and he would tell me hes broke but spend his money on meaningless things like fish tank and fishes etc.. our "dates" would consist of going to petco and buying fishes ... i would share my idea and somehow he would ignore even i told him he was ignoring me.... i mean i was ok in the beginning but i got sick of it ..In these 6 months hes only took me on like 2 dates out to dinner.He always came like an hour late or two when he came to see me ... He talked to his ex on fb when we were out together and he said "oh shes only a friend". and until one day i cought him deleting some messages he lied to me about it all and then i broke up with him, after that he humiliated himself and got on his knees so i could take him back .His mother also called my mother to say that "hes never been that way for a nother girl".. after that my mom couldnt stop trying to make me feel guilty insanely texting me and making me feel guilty !! so i was so tired of all this drama , i ended up taking him back then a day or so later he ended up leaving for a month and a half to mexico, i honestly dont want him and i want it to be over!! for good .... i just end up feeling bad for people and i dont think about my feelings how do i break this to him???!!! hes no back yet hes still in vacation? Lasatra Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 First of all I'm a boy so this is my opinion: I strongly dislike the way your mother treats you! :s I mean it's your life and not that of hers. My mom tells me also if she likes my girlfriend or not, sometimes she get back on one of my ex's and tells how great they were! I think that boy is ****ed.. He must realize that it is a lesson to learn when break up and it's definitely ok that he talks with his mom about it.. BUT It's very lame of him to ask his mom to call your mom or whatever it's bull****.. I've been there and I was thinking bout it but it wasn't 'man' enough. I don't know when he comes back but I know for sure that you tell him it's over. And yes begging is typical of some real men (been there 2) but that isn't the way.. I've been bad 2 in relationship and if my ex would give me a second chance I would take it and be better and if not I go on and apply what I learned in my next relationship (off topic). xD Just break up.. Please and never take him back from a feeling of guilt if you did your best!!!

Just send him a letter a long the lines of what you have done here. Leave out the part talking about your mother. Just talk about how you don't enjoy the way he treats you and feel no connection etc. Ask him not to contact you anymore. Also are you hot? I'm just curious why you would go out with a guy simply because of your mother. Do you live in some weird backwards town?

I would just give him his fish at your doorstep and break up with him there. Or, go for a walk. Don't let him come inside. It'll be harder to get rid of him if he's in your house. 1

Thanks all I would call, not text or email. Call and tell him you have thought about the relationship and that's not what you want, you're not happy, and it's better to call it. Not to be rude, but if your mom likes him that much, she can marry the guy. You know what makes you happy and that's not the fish guy.
