spaniard
Well, in any other situation I'd say don't go, but in your case: go. Maybe this will give you the closure you really need now. I have no experience in restraining orders and I live in another country, so I won't try to give any advice.
Author frederickkk
my love for her is overwhelming. i haven't emailed her today.
mammasita
Just kidnap her, I'm sure she'll come around.
CarrieT
Already had a warning. Explain this. What kind of warning have you received? If you show up, she could call the police and claim stalking and have you arrested. A restraining order is a court order that can protect her from being physically abused, threatened, stalked or harassed. It could cost you thousands of dollars of court costs to try and get it removed (and do you want this on a record of a background check for a job or an apartment???)
Author frederickkk
UK 2 points. first. warning. signed his notepad. no contact. i then bump into her 3 weeks later, we go for coffee, mixed messages, rejection. she changed her number. if she had gone back to the police, i would have faced arrest. so yeah its a risk. turning up at her college, to ask for a 5 minute talk, is a risk. CarrieT
turning up at her college, to ask for a 5 minute talk, is a risk. No - it is the height of stupidity...
CarrieT
to ask for a 5 minute talk Okay, I'll bite... What do you think might happen in five minutes that hasn't happened in the past several months? If she hasn't responded positively to the dozens upon dozens of emails you have sent, why do you believe a five-minute talk is going to change her mind?

Citizen Erased
i'll buy you a whole packet if you can tell me how you know shes over me. The restraining order is probably a hint.

CarrieT
i'll buy you a whole packet if you can tell me how you know shes over me. The non-response from the past several months is a pretty good indicator - as are the myriad of desperate posts you have made here on LS. If she weren't over you, you would have her in your arms right now.
Author frederickkk
the whole way this has played out. is just bizarre

If she hasn't responded positively to the dozens upon dozens of emails you have sent, why do you believe a five-minute talk is going to change her mind? Maybe not, but it will give him sufficient opportunity to attempt snip a lock of her hair with the pointy scissors he will bring in his jacket pocket. OP - I haven't read your other threads; what is bizarre about the idea that (a) she doesn't want to be with you, and that she is showing this by (b) not responding to your attempts to contact her? Renard99
train is in 3 hours Go for it then. Remember, you're a fighter and this is a perfect chance to fight. It will give you the answers you need. If you get a restraining order on you it certainly means she doesn't want to be with you. If she's with someone else, it means that she doesn't want to be with you. If she tells you that she doesn't want to be with you it means she doesn't want to be with you. If she jumps into your arms and declares her undying love for you you're a winner. Just get on that damned train and get the closure you need. P.S If the police do get called, remember, at that point, don't be a fighter. They don't like it

Renard99
already had the closure. i just want to keep trying. No, you clearly haven't had closure if you are attempting to keep trying. Closure is the end for the two of you, but you don't want an end, so there is no closure on your part. If a door is closed, you don't attempt to walk through it.
