Yeah I can see valentines day being the day loveshack gains 3,000+ members (not literally but you never know ) And indeed i'm coping well, but I still have what I call flash hope mobs where I get a text and I really hope it's her and its a friend....the ex still caused pain but hopefully it will continue to go down.

and may I ask how you are doing yourself?

 

One word... Hell! lol looks like ill be spending valentines day on love shack! lol the comfort I get reading people's broken stories. -.-

me too, gonna b here on valentines day, this is the most comforting time of the day when i am here on loveshack, reading others threads, it makes me more patient n gives me strwength to deal with my pain knowing just how worse others are going through. n its amazing how supportive everyone is over here, i have nort posted much over here but i do read all the threads everyday.

but i'm going to do what you suggest.. ultimate block. I unfriended him everywhere, but on one of the social nets, his profile is open and he posted a music video, where the guy is hurting so much after the break up he kills his ex and commits suicide LOL made me happy for that one evening and made me cry the whole next day... guess i was fooling myself saying that i'm 100% NC

Yeah I've posted a couple threads about my ordeal on what you call the "ultimate block" lol. If you are expecting it to give you comfort right away at the fact knowing you won't see him again on these sites, it wont. At least for me it didn't. The fact I was blocking her hurt me way more than I thought, because i'm juggling the fact I may not talk to her again for a very very long time and it hurt. It is an important part of NC still mainly because, as many told me before, that simply looking at an ex's profile is essentially breaking NC. It is a step towards reality which is what NC does to you at first, breaks you with the reality part then helps you move on. I'll never forget seeing, "I've finally found him...I feel complete." on her facebook page and being completely destroyed...but it helped me move on in the long run. Use whatever heartbreak you can to your advantage as a reason to NOT contact them.
