After a 3 1/2 year relationship, he cheated on me Christmas Eve. I'm getting on with my life but he keeps texting me. I think it is helping both of us move on, after texting him everyday for so long I've become addicted and need my fix. I don't know what to do, I'm not angry with him, so is it so wrong to keep the lines of communication open?

Why aren't you angry with him? Just out of curiosity.

We talked and talked and talked some more about what happened, where we went wrong that led him to cheat. I'm not blaming myself for him cheating but I believe more times than not cheating happens when people are too afraid to have the talk of all the things they aren't happy with or they are too afraid to just end the relationship. It sucks that I got cheated on, but our relationship was over.
