She's running like 10 mins late cause she took the train smh .Its kinda cold out so now the story becomes do I offer her a ride home cause I won't feel right having her bus/train it .ugh Last thing I wanted to do was play taxi :)

If you only know this girl from the internet such as a dating site, then she might feel creeped out if you drive her home. Certainly, you can suggest the idea, but include that you'll understand if she doesn't feel comfortable about the idea while expecting her to reject the offer.

Or find a place to wait and chat. Go for a walk, find a store that won't mind you pretending not to loiter, etc etc.

Well here's an update not sure how to take it.well she was about 20 mins last but called me saying sorry which I said no biggie .I then find out place didn't open till 4:30 ugh she then calls me says she's there.She went to the wrong location so I met her at that one .We decided on what to eat and she said ill share my food if you share yours :). Convo was pretty much even the whole night with alot of laughing mainly on her part .at one point she asked so what kinda girl were you interested in for your last rs .I said with a smile on my face I like all races and tbh I'm worried about now not my past dating (maybe was to harsh dunno ) We were walking toward the train I wasn't parked to far she said so u gonna take me home? I then said gosh you just beat me to it and we both laughed it off .In the car plenty of talking seemed we share alot of same values on life. I then walked her to the door and I said can I see you maybe Saturday .Well that day I'm working double shift so I said how's Friday hmm that may work lets keep it open.I smiled and said well I do wanna see you again she replied for sure :)

 

I dunno I've seen alot of story's where date went well what happen ?Maybe I planned the next date to close and maybe ill look clingy I dunno .Guess my victory is I did go out with another girl so waiting game starts ?

Well I called the girl this morning but no answer .I then get a text like few hours later saying this

I know text can be taken wrong but I didn't like how the convo went.Them again she said ya and I won't lie I'm beyond nervous .Ive talked to a few girls but this will be my first date since 09 with my ex wife heh

 

I would keep it cool, go through lunch, see how it goes. If it goes well, ask her out on a date.

Nice update!! You navigated through all the snafus and didn't get rattled. She held up her end of the conversation, laughed, apparently enjoyed her vegetarian meal ~ asked you for a ride home and welcomed Date #2.

 

You Sir Dave are a master dater.

 

I liked how you diverted her back to current time on her "interested in"

question.

 

So now--did you have fun? We're anxious to hear how you felt and your thoughts. Don't over think this buddy. Don't stress about dating rules either.

I had a good time and she says she did as well.Like I said I'm not sure if my follow up was to soon or should I leave the ball in her court and be like well call me Tomo and see if she did .Thanks again for all the feedback :)

Your follow up was heartfelt and executed perfectly. What's important is that you had fun. You anticipated the ride home scenario so you weren't caught off guard. You navigated her delay and flustered she went to the other venue~it was all well handled on your end.

Lovely #2. More contact?
Im hoping to hear from her and continue seeing her but a part of me hopes she makes the contact first.Then again it's way soon into this so maybe I can expect to be doing most of the contact ?I dunno will see
