GirlontheLam Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 So tonight I went out for drinks with a friend. We stopped at bar #1, planned to go to bar #2, but there was a long line to get in. Earlier in the evening, I said we should go to bar #3, because there was good eye candy. I started telling her about the last time I was there. I had an interesting experience. And to make a long story short, there was an attractive guy there that I didn't have a chance to talk who was sitting nearby. He was meeting a friend. I was smitten...he had dimples. We chatted for a 2 minutes before his friend arrived and exchanged a few glances. But no names, and no additional conversations. So tonight, we decide to head to bar #3 and grab a table near the door (it was crowded). We settled in with our drinks (my friend and 2 of hers I had just met that evening), and to my surprise, the cute guy from a few weeks ago walks in. We look at each other with recognition. I smile and give him a wave. I was about to tell the group the story, he was the cutie from the last time I went to the bar. Then he comes over gives me a hug, and we exchange greetings. I introduce myself, we start chatting a bit. One person in the party invites him to join us. Someone else asks how we know each other...it is obviously a bit complicated as we aren't acquainted. He meets the rest of the party and takes off to the bar by himself. My group urges me to go over to chat with him at the bar (there is a free seat). This is kinda forward for me.....but I go over and take a seat, intending to chat for a couple of minutes. A few minutes turned into 90.....we exchanged numbers and part ways. All in all I was a little surprised I ran into him again....
