Lone Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Hiya, Been split from my gf who broke up with me for about month and a half now. She's started texting me over last few days and yesterday woke up to a message saying she's sick of being strong and acting like she doesn't care and asking to catch up. I didn't reply and she tried calling which I didn't answer. I replied a few hours later and did that I guess that would be alright but will have to let her know when and aske if she was ok. She said she was fine she just "misses her mate and hates having to be strong and act all distant that's all" I said well that's probably the best thing for both of us right now. And she replied that I was right and loud and clear and sorry. I didn't reply to that but just text her saying I just realised I had a missed cll from her and asked what's up and to call now if she wants. Still haven't heard from her. Wondering if I should text her and see if she still wants to catch up or if I should just leave it? I want her back but I don't want to be taken for a ride or her contacting me saying all that because she's lonely or needs validation. Will I ever hear from her again? What should I do?
MyAngel Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 It sounds like she is hurting but she's also not saying that she wants you back. It's difficult to say what to do. If you want her back and she asks for another chance, take it... But it sounds to me like she just wants to be friends.
Author Lone Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Well I text her again asking if she still wanted to catch up. Guess ill just wait for her reply and go from there. I want her back but who knows why she wants to see me? Just to see me or too judge whether she made right decision? I don't know. If she says yes to seeing each other. How should I act?
Tmo2 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Think about what you want for yourself- Seriously, and then don't compromise. If you desire a serious relationship with her, dont settle for a friendship. Use as much time as you can before making a decision. Keep things simple. simple simple simple. Try not to over-think over-react, do not speculate and dont over-analyse. Most of all, try to reconnect with yourself. Breakups happen for a reason, for both parties. Figure out and remember who you are and you will be happy whatever the outcomes of your life
Author Lone Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 I know I wants serious relationship with her. But the chances of that ever happening again are slim if I decline her invitation to catch up right? I know I don't want to be just friends. We run in the same circles so I will see her around eventually and will just do the old hi-bye if it goes down that avenue. But if I catch up with her everything I'm reading is saying to be nonchalant act as if il orally good and don't bring up relationship or break up. Just have fun and be the guy that got her attention in first place. I'm just nervous because he hasn't replied yet. As the over thinking/analyzing is a huge problem I have. But it's only when I genuinely care about the outcome...
