jcrew11
I've been thinking about buying a new cologne and want one that would attract women. Which colognes are attractive to women on men? I've bought some of the lower-end and popular colognes in the past, but I want something a little nicer and more expensive. I'm willing to spend some more because I view smelling nice as essential to attracting and keeping a woman. Some colognes are more for the "office and work." I want something that is specifically seductive for date nights, bars, and clubs. I used to have Coolwater, but its kinda bland and doesn't stick out. I like Aqua de gio, but it always reminds me of my Italian friends. I also like Drakkar Noir because its very clean, distinct, and crisp. For some reason I never wore it in the past, perhaps because I thought it was too strong for going to school, but I realize now its perfect for going clubbing. Which other High-end colognes are good for single guys?
Vercetti
CK1 is about the best can think of ( don't be overpowering with it ). Oldspice is good regardless of price ( note wouldn't combine the two ). Beyond that natural and whatever incense ( if burn such ) soak into cloths. Leather jackets are good too.
sweetkiwi
Honestly I dont like cologne. I prefer natural scents. But if you're going to get one, get one YOU like. And dont bathe in it. I want to smell you, not taste you in the next room. And never ever mix colognes. Gross. I have found when like a more delicate smell. Dont be too shy to grab some female perfume samples. And ask ladies to sniff you. Only if youre hot though.

I like some of the CK colognes but they don't seem very strong, meaning they don't last. Perhaps that is a good thing since women don't seem to like strong smells. But I don't think its that noticeable in the club. I was thinking about Hugo Boss Bottled or Bleu de Chanel, which I saw an ad for in some magazines - it seems like the hot new fragrence for men. I've gone with some lighter stuff that I liked. But I want something that women specifically like and attracts them. I feel like men and women like different things. I also plan on wearing the cologne only at places like bars/clubs to meet women, not when I'm working or by myself.
El Brujo
When I last dated, fresh-scent colognes like Curve and Polo Blue were in. And I speak as a spicy-scent kind of guy in a fresh-scent world. A cologne salesman at a mall let me smell some Aramis, and I thought it smelled like marijuana (great if you're dating a pothead). He let me smell some Polo Green, but I thought it smelled too much like a hay loft.
sweetkiwi
There is no single scent women across the board like. Except babies. Smell like them. Or puppies. Or kittens. And please dear god dont spray your dick with the stuff. Thats not what we want to taste when we're giving head.

I always noticed it kinda agitated me a bit, but I only used it for going out. But I think it also agitates some of my family members as well and noticed they were more quick to temper. I tried spraying some on my arm yesterday to test it, and it actually makes me cough - I assume that is the spices. For some reason, I usually spray on my clothes but that is actually a waste since the clothes absorb the smell and it doesn't last. I realized its better to spray twice on the skin because it lasts longer. Now I'm just looking for a cologne that is more "Romantic" and won't make me cough.

I could use them to wipe my neck and arms.
Author jcrew11
I would rather any woman likes me for being me, not for some smell I buy and put on.... my suggestion is work on yourself, your confidence, wash before heading out and stop zeroing in on 1 thing to 'get girls' as suggested though, if you do put some on, less is more.... keep it to yourself.... she should only be able to smell it if she is very, very close to you... ;) there is a subtle hint in the above too....... Women are going to notice your smell anyways. Even if its the brand of deodorant you use or your aftershave. I'm just saying I want a fragrance that women like. Nothing wrong with finding something that turns women on, rather than wearing something that turns women off.
ASG
Boss Bottled is the one for me. I have followed people around clubs because of it. And I've had some friends call it sex in a bottle and I have to agree. Not every woman is gonna dig it though, so choose one YOU like!
Million.to.1
i personally love and always have loved "Eternity" for men. i think it's gucci. It's a classic. You need very little and it lasts. yumm.
Fondue
Curve for men, bro. It's relatively inexpensive and I never had a lady tell me she doesn't dig it. I often hear women telling me that they love the way I smell.

NoMoreJerks
My favourite happens to be Davidoff's Cool Water! Not that I am that knowledgeable when it comes to male colognes. My ex didn't wear any. Instead, he used to put on some anti-perspirant called Suremen Adventure (orange spray can), and I loved that so much. It smelled so sexy. lol. NoMoreJerks
Also, yeah, agreed with those who said that less is more. Put on a tiny amount, it shouldn't be obvious that you're wearing one from 1 km away. Only when someone is sitting VERY close to you/practically to the point where she's kissing you. CarrieT
I've been thinking about buying a new cologne and want one that would attract women. I got news for you, my friend. Colognes do not attract women. Confident, intelligent men attract women. Personally, I hate, hate, hate cologne. I like my man to smell clean, fresh, and MANLY. Not like something out of a bottle that pervades the air around him.
Author jcrew11
Curve for men, bro. It's relatively inexpensive and I never had a lady tell me she doesn't dig it. I often hear women telling me that they love the way I smell. I thought Curve was a "woman's fragrance" but then I smelled it the other day, and I can see why women like it but its not too "girly smelling" for a man to wear. It seems that the perfect cologne to get women, would be something like Curve that is "in between for men and women" - meaning that its flowery enough for women to notice and appeal to, but men can still wear it. Other colognes made for men are made to appeal to only men, which is usually the more subtle professional smells. I smelled "Success by Donald Trump" in a magazine, and although Trump as a person is uber-cheezy, I actually really like the smell and its perfect for a high-powered office executive. Imported
I am a fanboy for Creed I guess, although I like some of the stuff from Tom Ford too. I keep a flacon of Creed Green Irish Tweed as my everyday scent, half that size of Creed Vetiver and Aventus. Green Irish Tweed Flacon, 8.4 ounces - Neiman Marcus Original Vetiver - Neiman Marcus Aventus (NM Beauty Award Winner Fall 2010) - Neiman Marcus Vetiver is just to mix it up with GIT when I am bored. Aventus is for when I go out. I am really liking Aventus, in that I don't smell other cheap colognes that can imitate it yet. GIT....everyone tries to copy (cool water) and although some are close, their stuff fades away fast, while GIT last all day. I also have a million and one bottles of other colognes that I should probably just throw away now that I have settled on using Creed only. Except for my Tom Ford stuff. Keenly
I have gotten quite a few compliments from the women I work with about Very Sexy for Him 2 2 sprays of that and your good to go. She should not be able to smell it unless she has her face buried into your chest.
Imported
CarrieT, GIT is one of the best colognes I have found that makes me smell fresh all day. Used correctly, I just smell very refreshingly clean, not like chemicals....which is why I pay the $$$ for Creed, their **** does not smell like chemical clean. Getting how you smell right will help with women, but there is more that goes into it than colognes of course. And seriously, a man is not going to smell clean and fresh all day on his own.....you got an hour or two at best out of a shower before you start stinking.
ThaWholigan
I use Calvin Klein obsession at the moment - but I prefer Diesel. Two sprays, one at the front of neck, one at the back of neck. No more than that. But I've also been using PitRok, which is a natural deodorant because it's odorless.
Vercetti
Fact CK wears off and isn't putrid sweet or musky is why like it. What sweetkiwi said is why brought up overpowering / not mixing / and natural. Men or women with loud perfume kill me, don't want to be that person. People smell you from half a block away, their eyes start to water and they gag maybe get nasty taste in mouth some of them fan their hands, then when you leave twenty minutes later someone makes a snide comment " is he still here?" Less is more...in my mind a guy drowning in cologne is the equivalent of a girl that just discovered make-up looking like she got attacked by a box of crayola markers. As a teen had an accident with aftershave, the top broke off and it poured down me. Can't clean or burn that off, boy was that a fun day, even more fun when ran into the girl that got me the aftershave lulz guess I like it. Far as clubs go, standing out with cologne is the last thing want, unless want to be moses parting the red sea. Argh the very idea of that sort of competition has car dealers buying 8-balls and strippers going through my head.
FitChick
A woman should only be able to smell it if she is standing right next to you. It will give her an excuse to come closer and say, "Hmm, what is that wonderful cologne you've got on?" Remember that you cannot smell fragrance on yourself after a while because your nose gets used to it, so do NOT apply more. That goes for women, too.
CarrieT
I use Calvin Klein obsession at the moment - For me, that one is the WORST. Smells like bug spray and I've been known to extricate myself from elevators or offices when someone walks in wearing it...
