I'm not sure if this exact question was asked on here before, but I know there was one that was asked which was at least similar. (I tried doing a search for it but nothing came up).

So yeah, you have a choice, losing a limb, or being celibate for the rest of your life, not even getting to experience someone being attracted to you, in other words, being Incel for the rest of your life.

What would you choose?

I'd rather lose a limb.

I'd like to keep my limbs, so I would stay celibate.

How many girls have you actually asked out? So instead of thinking of losing a limb why not think about going out on a limb and losing your celibacy.

I'd lose a limb because it can be reattached

I just can't get my head around that.

This topic isn't about how many girls I've asked out.

Stop derailing the thread.

It wasn't that hard being celibate for me. Being a virgin didn't make me miserable. Ironically, that's probably why I lost it in the end.

Losing a limb however, I could not imagine. That would piss me off, so I would keep them and be celibate. Then I can pursue all the other things in life that made me happy enough before I had sex.

Either way, such a hypothetical is rather extreme, and I did not believe I could ever be incel.

I have toys. Much as I LOVE sex, I love my body more.

Maybe I shouldn't have used the word celibate, I didn't mean just sex, I mean anything with a woman, even experiencing interest from one.

Losing an arm, is something I could get used to.

Spending the whole of my life never experiencing sex, relationships, a girlfriend, even any kind of romantic interest, is something that I just can't ever imagine ever getting used to.

Dieing with all my limbs and never so much as experiencing romantic interest is something I could never feel at ease with or happy with, dieing without an arm or leg and having experienced love, sex, relationships sounds so much more appealing, it sounds like I could totally be happy that way.

Trust me, it's overrated. Imagine how much of your valuable life you burn up on a nebulous other. Just take the time to put a pencil to that number and write it out. Is it really worth it? It's hormones causing you to do a reproductive dance with a fleeting partner. Nothing more.

Don't get me wrong, I loved intimacy with women when it happened. I love my life and hopefully growing to be an old man much more. Likely your path will be different. The key is accepting the path, owning the path and loving it. Peace.

I never had sex in my entire life, so I don't what its truly like, but if I had to lose a limb to just have sex, I'm staying a virgin my whole life.

Anyway with that said, is sex really so good, you'll literally prefer someone lop off one of your limbs than stay celibate?

Well the answer remains the same. Hypothetically speaking, there is nothing that would make me want to lose any of my limbs - not even the allure of sex.

You've not read what I've said properly. I'm not talking about just having sex.

I also don't experience any interest from women in real-life either so I'm already living that reality.

I just don't understand how someone could prefer a limb over being validated, experiencing people being attracted to you, having sex, having sexual experiences, being with someone you love and who loves you back, and experiencing giving and recieving physical touch.

Are you guys who would prefer to not lose a limb really saying you could never get used to/get over losing a limb, but can totally get over/get used to being Incel?

Posted

Why would you want to be validated by others? The problem with letting others determine your worth is that THEY will be in control, not you. Your worth will go up or down based on your perceptions of what others think.

I determine how I feel about myself. MY thoughts, not someone else's.

And I'd still rather keep my limbs.

Why?

You have all your limbs and are technically celibate.

Can you imagine limbless sex?

Losing a limb would be absolutely horrible. Think of everything you do that requires two hands.

Like jerking off!

Well you can do that with one hand...right, right?

Ross is someone offering you sex for your limb or something?
