AndreTorres Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Hello all. Ok let me first tell you a bit about myself. I'm a 23 year old male, who is extremely shy, and I've never had a girlfriend (not that it bothers me), I don't have any dating experience, and by what others say, it seems I flirt a lot (I say I'm just being nice tho). So currently I'm interested in this girl. I've known her for a long time but never really talked to her, even tho I thought she was attractive. That is until last year (2011) I went on a vacation with her and her family. there for 2 weeks I really got to know her a started to like her. Some weeks after I took her and her brother to the cinema two times, the second time while I was saying goodbey she told me that maybe we should go out at night with some friends or alone (her brother was not allowed to go out at night due to his age). Then there was a 1 year gap since I last heard of her. Now for new year I saw her again, we had a lot of fun, and she even offered to take me home (I didnt have my car atm) then I tell her we should go out sometime and proceed to give eachother our cell phone numbers. Now it seems to me that she shows interest but when it is time to take action she never does. Arn't we both supposed to show interest? She is a really shy girl and never had a boyfriend, so I doubt she is playing me. The only reason I'm not honest with here about my feelings is because she is the daughter of the woman who married my uncle (step cousin) and if it went wrong there would be very awekward moments from now on since every special occasion is celebrated in their house. Does anyone has any kind of advice for a situation like this?
PogoStick Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 She showed interest by saying "let's go out" and "here's my number". Now ask her out, fool!
rys Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 if you're really interested in her, i agree with PogoStick - ask her out. sometimes a girl wont show she's interested to check if you'll pursue her
