Emilia Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Yes I've dated men who were of different races from mine - but more importantly they were culturally different. It was an interesting experience but ultimately I prefer men with similar values to mine.

XD I dated in my race and we lasted for a year, and the only issue was he was a total mama's boy, so not much race wise. The second serious relationship lasted 3 and a half years, and he was Filipino. Once again, his family got in between us. But I've also dated a colombian. I dunno, don't really feel the asian men. I'm a sucker for spanish dudes.

What kind of problems did you encounter? Do you think different religions or races can cause problems with yourself, your friends, or your family? I have dated plenty of men outside of my race and have never encountered any problems. The problems I had were minor issues such as people staring and people talking but who cares about that?
