So you decide to tell them they're wonderful but would like to remain friends, like platonic friends. What do you think? Do you think its possible to go from being crazy about someone to being just friends?

This, long term relationships never really remained friends with them, it was always awkward...shorter relationships not nearly as bad when seeing each other. Not sure how well two people can remain friends if they've had sex though, perhaps just friendly...dunno
joli_doll Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I think it's possible, but wouldn't advise it if you're the one that's crazy about them.. unless you genuinely feel capable of maintaining a platonic friendship with them.

But we needed not to speak for 1 or 2 years for this to happen. I will always love him in a way and I am sure he does too but it wasn't supposed to happen.
