Keenly Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 She called me and said she needed a ride to the hospital, but she wouldn't tell me why when I asked. Then I reminded her I would have to leave work so I would need a reason. She said oh I forgot you were at work and then said Nevermind and hung up. Desperate need for a ride ? Or a cry for attention ? I've been NC for almost two weeks.
Treasa Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Doesn't matter. She sounds like a fruit loop. I'd have to go with desperate need for attention. 2
sweetkiwi Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Well if the conversation was that curt IRL I would say she's using you for a ride, or coming up with a lame excuse to talk to you but being rude(????) about it.
Author Keenly Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 I didn't actually realize that it was rude until you mentioned it. Why couldn't she at least tell me why ? That was stupid .
Jono85 Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 this is why u don't break NC for simple calls, or meaningless texts.. i did bout a month ago when my ex called me up one night. i ignored it, and was able to ignore it for 2 days, and then i felt super guilty b/c i never ignore ANYone, and she said she called b/c she was bored/on her way home and was reminded of me lmao. she also just recently started seeing someone, so a part of me feels she wanted to rub that in my face/notify me of that. point is don't break NC.

It's impossible for me to not break NC, because she calls from random numbers I have never seen. So I can either never answer my phone, this rendering it void and useless, or I can answer it and just hope its not her. Was this an attention seeking woman logic maneuver , or do you think she genuinely needed some kind of assistance ?

sharsh Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Don't lose sleep over this one. If it had actually been something so important, she would've explained so you COULD help her. If I were you, and I got another call from her down the line, I'd ask her to stop contacting you. (like I did with my ex) 1
