irc333 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Well, this IS a small world. I was a friend's New Years party, and one of the invitees was a woman I had met on a dating site. We had gone out one time from the site, then she did the ol' "Fade away" (phone calls going unreturned/emails etc) and I moved on. A YEAR later I see her last night, and we kind of caught up.....later in the evening she says something how she knows this may be in the past or water under the bridge, but she went on to explain why she stopped replying to me. And she couldn't really explain why, she looked like she was trying TOO Hard to find a reason why....and then she said something like not really having a reason to justify what she did. I couldn't make sense of it either, I can't even paraphrase it on this post even, lol. I was like "Oh, it's no problem, no biggie" But, anyone met someone that tried to explain why they blew you off?

I think the reason why she wasn't able to give you an answer is that the real answer would be kind of awkward--she wasn't feeling it right after your date, and it would have been weird for her to deliver that direct rejection after all this time, and at a party no less. So how was she went you saw her?
