Shim_kattty Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Something is happening for me in reverse. I felt more distanced from him while we were still talking. Now that we're NC, we both seem to be the epitome of the saying "distance makes the heart grow fonder." He just texted me happy new year & I was liking about doing it but I didn't & he puts up statuses that are like "I'm in way too deep" or "diving into shallow water" He has a girlfriend, I don't get it. Why is it seeming to make us closer rather than us healing & moving on?
SlyMan320 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 maybe try talking to him to sort out how he feels? Offer help if he needs it? you don't need to develop a friendship to branch out if you feel that he's heading in the wrong direction.
movingon12 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 You're not healing and moving on because what you're doing is not NC. Don't text him. Don't reply to his texts. Don't speak to him. And stay away from his FB.

I did open my FB back up last month to share baby photos with my family but completely forgot that I was friends with him until I saw his statuses on my newsfeed.

Block him - or at least unfriend him - on facebook if you haven't already and ignore anything that he texts you. Only when you're not hearing from/about him will you be able to start to properly move.
