KungFuJoe Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Most women like bigger guys. Size conveys strength and masculinity. No big surprise here.
ZxExD Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 You don't sound very attractive. Do you still have an hourglass shape ? LOL, I hope not. I just loved his reply....LMAO
ZxExD Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Not too big for me. I thought this thread was going to be different........ Ya me too, I am 6'1, trying to get down to 200lbs.
ZxExD Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Oh and for the record, you can't "convert" fat to muscle. They're entirely distinct tissues. You build lean mass and lose fat. Nothing turns into anything. And now back to what I thought this thread was originally about... I can turn nothing into something......
CarrieT Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 My exH (who came out of the closet five years into our marriage) was 6'6" and 325 pounds. It was fine.
Treasa Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 As long as a guy can go all night long and keep up with me on the trails, I don't care how big he is. 5
mammasita Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 if you're attractive, size doesn't matter. Its all about looks. [/sarcasm]
ThaWholigan Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 5'10" and 200lbs sounds kinda hench . Maybe trim it down to like 185lbs. I am probably around the 225lbs mark, and I'm trying to trim it down a little myself .
edgygirl Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 OP's BMI is 28.7. Theoretically he is overweight. On the way to obese. Unless it's muscle weight. Obese = diabetes. Underweight = <18.5Normal weight = 18.5–24.9Overweight = 25–29.9Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
tommykoo Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Hi! I would suggest that you look for someone that would suit herself to you. What do i mean? Well, if you are looking for the right match, and you bother so much about those who dislike you because of your physical appearance, you will end up chasing for NOBODY. Remember this "We can only be someone whom deserve to be loved, the rest is up to the other person to judge". Hope this helps! Have a good day.
sweetkiwi Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 The problem is OP is insecure or concerned about his weight. In that case he should try and get comfortable in his skin. That will attract more women. Not every woman likes big bellies.

TheFinalWord Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I'm 5'10- 200 lbs. I had once female friend telling me i was Getting to big for her taste. I am pretty bulked atm, maybe 15%. So for you ladies is 5'10-200 to big?. Workout for yourself friend. You can't please all women's tastes. Some women like skinny some like overweight. Many more prefer muscular and lean than either of those two options. BUT being muscular isn't required for most women by any means. It's more of a bonus. If you think muscularity is going to give you this huge leverage over other men, you're in for a disappointment. Main thing is, if you are obsessed with perfect eating or taking steroids, then you'll you're going to have problems with most women. Anything taken to an extreme is not healthy. I would also say if you are into working out and take it seriously (not obsessive, but you have goals and stick to them), you will have problems with women that care nothing about working out and eating healthy. But if you work out, eat healthy, and aren't obsessive about it (you can go out and eat dinner on the town), you'll be fine. BTW: A lean 200lbs natural is very possible at that height. Dr. Layne Norton is 29 years old, 230 lbs off season, and 5'10". At the 4-6% body fat level required for the cover of flex? No, but 15% bf? Very much. Heck, my first training partner was a natural master's level (40+) bodybuilder and was 210 lbs, 5'7" in the off season and still had a six pack. Assuming average genetics, it would typically takes about a decade of consistent training to have those stats. But very possible IMHO. PS: Dr. Norton offers some great bodybuilding tips on YouTube. Check him out.

edgygirl Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 BMI is horrible and mean. Said I was overweight. I'm not fat! I'm big boned! BMI doesn't count for the big boned! <3
edgygirl Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 They don't? So you girls don't like it when I place my belly on your back when I'm hitting it doggy style? Duly noted. I must be what they call a chubby chaser. I love big men! Yummy. 1

Works for getting a snap shot of society, but not very good for evaluating training population. Waist to height is more ideal for muscular individuals. sweetkiwi Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 They don't? So you girls don't like it when I place my belly on your back when I'm hitting it doggy style? Duly noted. Never had a floppy belly that could be "placed" on my back. Which in foggy style isn't exactly close to the lower back. I like a round hairy belly myself. Especially with chest carpet and big arms. Mmmmmm So OP If you were my man i would encourage arm workouts. But keep you well fed. 1
SmileFace Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 BMI is horrible and mean. Said I was overweight. I'm not fat! I'm big boned! Big bone only counts if you are tall.

Bristolius Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I don't care if he's from Mars, it's a freakin' basic adverb. One of the first things non-native speakers learn is the distinction between too and to. So yeah, really, especially since this was covered ... over and over and over in the past twenty-four hours. Oh and for the record, you can't "convert" fat to muscle. They're entirely distinct tissues. You build lean mass and lose fat. Nothing turns into anything. To is a preposition
monicaelise Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 To is a preposition Yep, and too is an adverb (as in "am I too big?"). 1
ZxExD Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Yep, and too is an adverb (as in "am I too big?"). I would love two.
Bristolius Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Yep, and too is an adverb (as in "am I too big?"). Oops. Sorry. Too is a freakin' adverb! 2
Necris Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) At 200 lbs, a guy would need to be at least 6'2" for me to find him attractive, but I prefer thin guys. What about 6'3" 238 lbs? Capable of bench pressing 270lbs. But with a mostly solid build (I have been told I look pretty strong, though I do feel like I need to lose a bit of weight). Edited December 31, 2012 by Necris 1
