surfergirl Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Somebody please help me. I'm only attracting married men!!! I feel like I have a sign on my forehead that reads " married men magnet". Are there any single people out there??? I work in a large office and when I'm not there I'm on the water - but it doesn't matter all the guys that "hit" on me are either married or have girlfriends. Yuck!! They all tell me that I'm very exotic (whatever that means) and a fantasy girl??? What??? Somebody please tell me how to attract single guys. By the way, I'm not out "looking" for a man - they come to me.
shorty1963 Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 I also have the same problem too. There are several guys at my job that are married, but only one has been very friendly to me.But he is seperated right now. Today at work he took my had in his and held it for a while. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I just walk off and let it go.I told him i will not see him until he is in divorces court. I really don't know why they do it, i am not sending the wrong signals to him or anyone else.
Author surfergirl Posted August 16, 2004 Author Posted August 16, 2004 Glad I'm not alone. I think I'm going to have to put some weight on and stop taking care of myself to get them to stop -lol. I'm very active and enjoy keeping myself in shape but I'm starting to wander if that's the problem? Hang in there.
shorty1963 Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 You are not the only one out there that this happens to. I just wonder what it is about us that married men like ?? Is it the looks ? being single ? dependent ? sence of humor ? I am all of the above !! LOL
Author surfergirl Posted August 17, 2004 Author Posted August 17, 2004 I think that single guys sometimes don't know how to handle women who have their own money, homes, toys etc... but married men who are supporting wives find it attractive - I think. That's my opinion. I don't know. I'm not going to pretend to be "needy" in order to get a man if you know what I mean? And I don't want them to like me for my money either... usually I don't mention the money for a while when I meet someone so they will get to know me first. ttyl
