OCCDAVE Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Well I've been exchanging messages with a lady who happens to be 6 years older then me ( omg cougar) Well today I maned up and decided to get her number .She called me after I gave her mine which tbh kinda surprised me .I was at work so I couldn't answer so she sent a text . Hey ill text you after dinner with the family Well any advice I'm not good when it comes to dating hell last women I dated who also was older then me was my ex wife and that failed lol.Guess what I'm trying to say when talking to an older person will I need to act different for example jokes I tell and stuff ?

You didn't say how old you are. 6 years is really not a big difference. With anyone, you should always act like yourself and let conversation go where it will.

Then again maybe I shouldn't have even asked if I could call and just do it?

My last serious bf was 6 years younger than me, we didn't seem to have any problems with that just save for the fact that I was/am a bit older than him. He got to boast to his buddies that he was with a cougar, I got to feel good about having a slightly younger man. Otherwise that was it.
