lookingforyou Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 The team leader in my store gives me preferential treatment. Examples include allowing me to swap lunch hours when the rule is against that, talking a lot to me and offering me lifts. Do I interpret that as liking me or finding a friend in me? We have not hung out outside of work though. He also does not talk much about his personal life. Any ideas?
CarrieT Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 You are reading too much into it. Even if there is interest, you should not act on it or take it outside work so leave it alone.

FitChick Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Stop looking for a boyfriend and start looking for a promotion.
D-Lish Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Because we work together? I was hoping he would take the first step. Is there a rule against fraternization at your work? If so, don't put yourself in a position to get in hot water.
Got it Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Most companies have a minimal supervisor/subordinate dating policy due to unfair treatment from other coworkers. Look at your handbook and read up on the policies first before you proceed.
Author lookingforyou Posted January 14, 2013 Author Posted January 14, 2013 I'm not looking to act on anything. I'm actually more curious as to whether he's interested. Well, I guess I won't know from LS.
stevie_23 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I don’t know whether he’s interested as such, but it seems that he definitely enjoys your company.
