Love Shack,

 

I Would like to to say thanks to all the members on this forum! I never really posted too much on this website, since so many cases were similar to mine already posted. Reading some of these helped me move on with life..

 

I met a girl in 2007 at the beginning of my college career (Freshman). I fell madly in love with her very quick (young and naive). From the beginning we had complications, She was breaking up/dating a guy she had dated most of her junior high and high school career. I never tried to steal her from this guy I simply played it cool and she eventually broke up with him and jumped into my arms.lol still being young and naive I didn't see anything wrong with this.we were young (were still young lol) and crazy about each other! problems started early with her not really representing me as her boyfriend, and much more. we would verbally fight like no other until it began physical (on her behalf). I still stayed with her through thick and thin, because I loved her sooo much. Fast forwarding 3.5 years down the road our relationship began truly spiraling out of control. she began to become more and more physically abusive, there were times we would stay up all night till sunrise arguing and her hitting me. but for some reason she was my heart and I forgave her every time (rose colored glasses). the last fight that broke out was when me her and her cousin went out on the town to party one night and my gf (ex now) ran into a guy she worked with, a particular guy who she had already told me he had gf a couple months back. so my gf went over to speak to him and I over heard her ask him "wheres your gf" and he replied "at a wine tasting". into the night the guy began flirting with my gf's cousin, so I asked "didn't you tell me he had a gf?" her reply was"I don't know?" with a stupid look on her face. at that moment I felt something was being kept a secret, I don't like secrets. that night we got into a small/big argument behind close doors, since her cousin was over. She left off back to her hometown (2.5 hrs away) pissed off at me. That was the last night we spent together last sat. in June 2012. the lease ended and I got an apt. somerwhere else in town, so did she but everything in the apt we stayed at belonged to me, and I took alllll of it . She couldnt afford her 1st month rent at her new place so I paid for it in full($900), not part, full! Got no thank you or anything, had to go pick my own money up! I tried getting back with her, telling her lets take it slowly and go back to the simple fun of courting, she didn't want to, so I eventually stopped trying and found happiness in family and friends. I went NC with the help of LOVE SHACK POSTS...3 weeks of going NC she contacted me wanting to work things out, I simply said "not now we need time to see the damage we both have done to each other". 2 weeks later I found out from my friend she was dating the guy from the club that night, that was flirting with her cousin...It hurt a lot not going to lie, but after looong debate, shes the one getting the short end of the stick not me!LOL

 

Any who thanks LOVE SHACK FOR ALL THE HELP! don't know if some of you are religious or not but praying to god does wonders as well, keeping faith is key!
