jwhite Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Think of it this way. Today and New Years Eve are going to be the worst that we are going to experience....given unbroken NC. Once this period has left, and a few days have went by, we will be able to easily make it through the rest of this BU BS because we have endured the worst "lonely" days of the year! Just 1 week to go! I am thankful for that the most

Then, in March, I'm turning 30, and that's doubly-depressing. Sure, Christmas and New Year's is hard, but at least there's this sort of spirit all over the place, decorations, etc., that takes your mind off things (even if you're spending Christmas and New Year's all by yourself). I am also dreading summertime, because we met during the summer and I can't face summer without him.

TheUnthoughtKnown Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I hate Christmas and New Year. There's so much pressure. I never want to be single during the holidays again because it really is a slog to get through it. Hope you're all hanging in there. Not long to go and we can all get back to normal. Roll on March!!
