jags2bowl27 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I was thinking after reading some posts... why do ex's TEXT.. its such an easy way out. I feel as if I want a phone call, not a text if they really want me to hang around. Which brings me to my next point, how do you tell an ex to not ever text u again and if they want to call they can. Like in my situation, shes chosen another guy over me, thats her choice but im coming to terms that its my choice to make her realize i will not be second to anyone. But she always sends texts. My image would be much better if she tried to actually communicate over the phone
Amelie1980 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I agree. Texting is a really horrible way to communicate. they can do it whenever they like, withholding whatever information they like. they can also be misinterpreted a million different ways. You could text back and tell her you are happy to talk like a couple of adults but you won't ever reply to a text.again. If I only took my own advice. 3
veggirl Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Well most people nowadays claim they "hate talking on the phone". We are too used to hiding behind computer screens (email) and phone screens (texting)....calling and hearing a voice is too scary now. It's retarded. People need to be sure they will have time to plan the perfect reply, they need to plan the perfect text...calling takes that away. They are just wusses. 1
Author jags2bowl27 Posted December 25, 2012 Author Posted December 25, 2012 which is why i will no longer text my ex and i will explain that next time she wants to "check in with me" because she will
TaraMaiden Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 It's very easy. Block her number. Delete all records. Sorted.
carhill Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Change your phone number. Gets rid of all kinds of undesirables, not just exes. 1

Yup....And please - no excuses about not being able to because of business contacts/friends/relatives whatever. It can be done. if you advise people of a change of home address - advising them of a change of 'phone number is even easier - it's a doddle....
Author jags2bowl27 Posted December 25, 2012 Author Posted December 25, 2012 this might be something i look into
