I just recently ended my 2 yr relationship with a girlfriend who cheated on me emotionally and physically. I accepted her back and for the past 6 months up until almost two weeks ago, abused me mentally and emotionally.

I know I'm not in the right frame of mind to date NOW, but I would like to push myself sometimes next month and meet a few women. Go out, lighten up a bit, nothing serious. Just enjoy another girls company and allow myself to both heal and reclaim who I once was.

In saying this, I don't have the slightest clue where to meet a good, decent girl anymore. I don't want to meet women at the bar, it's never been a good idea in my mind. I also don't want to meet a friend of a friend, since the odds of a potential relationship bleeding into friendship(s) can be a dark, disasterous thing. Trust me, I've recently been there.

Where do you guys recommend me hitting up. I'm well spoken, a fairly attractive guy who just wants to meet real women w/o any expectations involved. Ideas???

Online works too....

Join a gym

Take a class at the community college In a subject, hobby, auto repair, cooking, etc.

With church or volunteering or activity lube...do what you enjoy doing don't go in it with the idea of meeting a date.

Volunteering snt just with church charity or feed the homeless...other type are volunteering at the state/city/county or national parks, volunteer to be involved in the school or PTA of your children. You can volunteer at a hospital.
