I had two women come up and try to chat me up while out with some friends last night. I was ordering Johnny Walker Blue Label @ $25/shot. Some woman was standing next to me and heard me order that and she instantly turned, made a comment about my drink of choice, and started chatting me up. She wouldn't have noticed me if I had been the last guy on Earth, otherwise. True. But it seems those women were simply the gold digger type. lol Was she alone? Not many women do that going to bars alone, at least where I live.

In other words you aren't the typical slob ordering $1.50 PBRs. 2

I keep a bottle at home, but would never order it outside of that. Usually just go for Jamison on the rocks with a lime twist. And if I am drinking beer, I always go for an amber and drink it in a glass. It is about style and presence. To most women, a 335i, 325i and M3 all look the same.

This isn't a place where "working girls" hang out and is only frequented by locals. Plus, I saw her to back to a table with some other women. Looks like it was just a ladies night out.

Women are people no matter what they look like. They are a person just like you. Men and women are equals. You should not think of a woman being above you just because she is hot.

Man I have been realy fat then skinny then fat again. I used to think I was super ugly, had low self-esteem and thought that no woman would ever want me. I was single for years when I was younger. I couldn't get any women. I had women looking at me with what I thought atleast were looks of disgust. Women have told me to f off when I approached them. Most all that happened because of the way I thought, the way I thought women worked, the way I thought about myself. Turns out I was wrong about both. I had to change my way of thinking, get tougher, learn as much as I could about women and how they realy worked, try to become a stronger better man. It took alot of work, but I can now attract women while I'm skinny or fat. Remember that you are a man and nobody else is any better than you. Try to think about what you're good at and build your confidence around that. When you are confident in yourself you give off and attractive vibe. To answer the OP's question. Nah 1

Your goal then should be to improve yourself to the point that you make it past this hurdle. You do realize that you did a pretty similar thing the other night right? Well, based on past experience it's easy to be pessimistic. I guarantee you she wouldn't have given me the time of day if I had been drinking PBR. LOL

It's all about what you think about yourself and how you feel about yourself. Also, a woman can feel very attracted to a man even if he is not that good looking. 1

Unattractive, shy guy buying $25 shots = Target for women with ulterior motives.
