What do you do with lingerie after the relationship ends?

I seem to have developed a lingerie graveyard drawer, and I'm curious what other people do. Im talking about the pretty/lacy/risque stuff, not functional pieces. Do you get rid of everything? Wear it again with your next partner? Save it in a drawer but feel too weird to wear with someone else (like me)?

I suggest saving them for your next partner. They are too pretty and pretty expensive so enjoy them again.

I have a large collection of lingerie and they make me feel sexy and adorable. Also, I try them on just for fun to make sure they still look great on me; a great way to gauge whether one is maintaining their shape.

Time will pass and the lingering memory of the person you wore them for will eventually fade away, imo.

Use it with your next partner. It would be kind of a mental revenge on the ex. He bought it, but you're enjoying it in bed with your new guy! :)

i keep it. some of it was too expensive to get rid of and was maybe only worn once or twice. the new guy will never know and you'll be more confident in a particular piece because you've already worn it before and had a positive (perhaps) reaction. i vote for keep!

Personally I would keep the ones I bought and discard the ones the guy bought. It would be too weirdly intimate to wear underwear gifted by your ex-partner when you're with another one.

Good job automatically assuming that he bought all of them. Not that I would have expected any less of you.

Never, ever discard cheap, itchy lace. It's excellent for scrubbing the toilet and getting scum off the taps without scratching....

You should discard it in case your husband finds it.

Yeah I agree. Destroy the evidence so your husband doesn't find out.

This is pre-marriage lingerie and a couple things I bought early in our relationship. It also has special needs lingerie (bustiers etc) and tights. Basically a drawer that rarely gets opened (The hubby lingerie is in my frequently used drawer with everyday items) I just feel weird wearing it with someone else but don't want to throw it out and obviously can't give it to a friend.

Was just wondering what other women do...
