Here's the situation: I've been dating my guy for 4 months now and things are going really great. We both have a mutual love of music and I know this awesome local record store that he frequents. They offer gift cards, so I am going to the store to get one for him tomorrow. (I think this is the best option because I don't have much time to go through records and pick out the right ones to give him-and at least this way, he can get whatever he wants.) The problem I'm having is figuring out how much I should spend. I was thinking $50, but I am wondering if that sounds like a good amount. Knowing that he is a music lover, I know $10 or $20 won't go too far in a record store and would be a bit of a tease, I'm just hoping $50 is enough and not too much. (For him, I mean. I can afford it, but I don't want him to think that I spent too much or too little on him.) Let me know if you think this sounds like a good amount-I would appreciate your opinions! I didnt know people still buy music oh stop it. almost everyone downloaded music through torrents one time or another. dont be hypocrites. theyre making too much money anyways.
