OCCDAVE Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Well for about a week I've been messaging a girl who caught my eye on a dating site .well I give her my number said if we could text and she said sounds good :)Well she texted me and we chatted a bit.She was watching her fav show so the convo was kinda eh but I didn't wanna come off as annoying .That first convo pretty much crashed .Next day comes middle of the day no word from her so I texted her.Convo again kinda dragged but she said was at work .Today comes I decided to call and no answer .So pretty much maybe I just caught her on a bad weekend she does have a kid after all ?I dunno I kinda feel if I start up another convo ill look needy/clingy ?
weee111 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 If she doesn't call you back, you can text once tomorrow. If she doesn't answer that then move on. If she does answer, move towards meeting up asap...don't drag it out over email/text/phone too long.
Author OCCDAVE Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 (edited) Sounds good but why don't you think it's just a busy holiday weekend or do all signs point to her pulling a 180 Edited December 23, 2012 by OCCDAVE Wrong
CptSaveAho Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 you've been messaging a girl for a week, never asked her out she got bored i like to get to know my dates on "dates" not via text
Author OCCDAVE Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 Well let me reword what I meant beginning of last Monday just passed we begin contact and Friday I got the number .I tried to keep the text kinda basic cause like you of have nothing to talk about if she agrees to a date.
mortensorchid Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Try calling once more, if she doesn't pick up leave a message. Then send another text. If she doesn't respond to either one, move on. You tried, for whatever reason it didn't happen.
Vercetti Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 On the same page as other posters, only thing should be texting is " I don't text " and set-up a date. People are far more charming ( hopefully ) and easier to read in person, harder to blow off as well.
Author OCCDAVE Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 Just called and as expected no answer sigh owell dust myself off and try again
