Dressing up requires some planning and advance preparation; role playing is just verbal and you can do it anytime and anywhere. I think you'll find that women are either really into it or they'll shut you down very, very fast. It's definitely not something you bring up too early, or she'll think you're some kind of pervert. (Admittedly, I am a pervert, but I don't want women learning that too quickly). The best way to bring it up is to start with just some verbal banter. For instance, if she says she did something wrong, you can start pretending to be a cop/lawyer/judge and have her negotiate a plea. Or if she talks about something she did in high school, say that you wish you had been her principal because you could have taught her to behave. She will either shoot you daggers (in which case you stop immediately) or she'll play along and you can see where it goes. (The other way you can tell whether a woman is into it is when she walks into your closet and says, "Why do you have all these costumes in here?" But it may take you a few years to get to that point. . . ) One of my exes was really into dressing up. She had a background in modeling/performing, so she really enjoyed playing characters. One night she surprised me and showed up at my door wearing a very elaborate Little Miss Muffet costume. She was in tears and said that a big spider was chasing her and could she please come inside. I told her that she could, so long as she let me play with her tuffet. It's still one the greatest nights of my life. . . . Another easy scenario that doesn't require any real costumes is to play "Pick up". You pretend you don't know each other and agree to meet at a certain bar at a certain time. (Make sure you get there first). Then you try to pick her up. The problem is that if she's pretty (which my gfs always are!) she'll get hit on by a dozen guys. So the game is watching her as she accepts or rejects the advances of all these other guys. In theory, you can also hit on other women, but from (painful) experience I can tell you this is NOT a good thing to do. Let her have her fun (knowing that she's eventually going home with you), but don't let her think that you have any interest whatsoever in any other woman in the bar. ("I didn't even notice any other women. You looked so good in that dress that I couldn't take my eyes off of you"). When you get your chance, you make your move and show her your best game. As far as costumes, you can do whatever you like, but it should have some sort of story to go with it. The costume is hopefully coming off pretty soon, so you've got to have some kind of story or scenario to play off of. Some popular ones are: Principal/Naughty School Girl Patient/Nurse Sultan/Harem girl Lawyer/Criminal Prostitute/John (or Jane!) Roman emperor/barbarian slave girl James Bond/Bondgirl Pirate/Kidnapped Lady (my fave! ) I've also found that the Wizard of Oz is just full of all sorts of possibilities. Have fun!!! 3
