123321 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 But why is it that some males here...younger and not so young...feel the need to disparage, mock, and insult the physical appearance of women over a certain age? Why is that OK? Why especially....do they seem to feel the strong need to do so? Because this is yet another entire group of women who although you think beneath you...have also rejected you? Someone started the thread, ask them. For what it's worth women that age are pretty easy to date, if you want to. There are a ton of issues but mostly it boils down to excess baggage and a terrible mismatch in expectations. Perhaps if I was a single father of 2 or something I would feel differently I dunno.
2sure Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 There are certainly an infinite number Of reasons people don't date.
2sure Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Anyway...I wonder if this woman was having some knd of mid life crisis. I mean, escorting is a pretty drastic way to get validation. A power trip of sorts maybe?

I'm over 40 and wouldn't date a single father of 2. Excess baggage and a mismatch of expectations. Perhaps if I were younger and wanted a ready made family.

Perhaps if I were younger and wanted a ready made family. I don't blame you, I was more thinking of the situation where the woman is a single mom, then maybe a single dad (a sort of rare breed, but they do exist) would be a good match. Your kids and my kids are fighting with our kids .... But for a single and childless person the prospect of a pre-made family is sort of unappetizing and that's OK, nothing wrong with not wanting it. I feel the same. This guy has a lot to say on selecting a wife.
joystickd Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Hell i ruined a good thing with a 24 year old for a smokin hot 50 year old recently. It was good meeting someone i could actually have a conversation with instead of them talking and having a short conversation then sex 1
Feelin Frisky Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 She could have just dropped her last name and been instantly ready for the pro life.
happykat Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I just want to know why this thread is titled "Women over 40 not worth dating?".. I did not like that title at all and expected something way different lol

I don't know about you but I can have a conversation with people I'm not f***ing.
joystickd Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Well ... I don't know about you but I can have a conversation with people I'm not f***ing. YOu know what I mean all she really had to offer was sex. Outside of that it wasn't really no substance.

Lostinlife4now Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I am over 40 and I AM DEFINITELY WORTH DATING... I bring it ALL to the table....Jus sayin.....:cool::cool:
Author FitChick Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 I just want to know why this thread is titled "Women over 40 not worth dating?".. I did not like that title at all and expected something way different lol It was in response to the usual LS virgins and dateless wonders claiming women were undesirable after 40. Some even said after 30! I wanted to show those silly boys that some men were actually willing to pay hundreds of dollars for just one hour with a middle-aged woman when they could just as easily have screwed a younger and more beautiful one for less. Not meant to be a serious thread.
tbf Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 There is something very wrong about this woman: US Olympian Suzy Favor Hamilton admits secret life as a call girl | News.com.au Favor Hamilton runs her own real estate brokerage with her husband, while also delivering motivational speeches and doing various bits of promotional work. She considered the escort work as an escape from the routine of normal life and said her husband Mark, 44, was the only person aware of it. “He tried, he tried to get me to stop. He wasn’t supportive of this at all,” Favor Hamilton said.
joystickd Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Not seeing the issue. I take it all you want is sex then.
123321 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I take it all you want is sex then. Nope, but I don't have to have sex with the people I converse with. My GF is OK to talk to about daily things but if I wanna talk comp-sci I'm not gonna go find a cute chick from the QA group and bed her. That's just goofy. If the young girl was really dumb then I can see cutting her loose but her IQ isn't going to improve much in 26 years, she'll just be a dumb older lady. So I don't call you choice into question, but I do call your subtle possible assertion that older women are smarter into question as well as the concept of needing to have sex with someone in order to have a conversation.

I never said I needed to have sex to have a conversation. I merely stayed all she had to offer was sex. No real conversation.

joystickd Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 So what did age have to do with it then? I guess I'm not seeing the point in your original post. I just mentioned that the woman was 50 years old. The problem the 24 year old had I have seen in women in their 30s and 40s.

Ah OK, it sounded like the typical false dichotomy that a lot of women over a certain age try to sell; "Sure, she's young and sexy but she's not going to be good to talk to", which is sometimes true sometimes not but I've not found how good someone was to talk to in any way attached to being over 35. You can have your 24 year old and talk to her too.
