Chateau Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 Hey all, I'm new to the forums. Anyway, I've liked this girl I work with off and on for about a year now. When she first started there, I was really crazy about her. Then, as I started to learn a few things about her, I lost some interest. We've remained friends the whole time and recently I'm starting to become interested again as we seem to be around each other more. She is by far the flirtiest and most affectionate of all my female friends. She always grabs my arm softly or touches me when we pass each other. She's usually always smiling at me and likes saying my name lol. She even says hi to other guys on occasion when I'm around whom she'd never really talk to any other time. We also seem to always eat lunch together as well with her asking me to go with her frqeuently. She's a shy girl and many people mistake her as stuck up (even I did at first). However, she opens up to me more than anyone else there. She's had a few occasional bf's but none seemed to last for long, and I had a casual gf for awhile too. Whenever I asked her what she was doing on a weekend, she usually seems to make something up or act real nervous. The couple of times I've seen her at parties she's been real affectionate and wanted attention and telling me to come by a certain time because she had to leave by then. I'm 20 and she's 19. However, I've been told I'm very mature for my age and she's well still kind of a kid - needs to mature more. I know she doesn't know what she wants. I've asked her before what she wants to pursue or do in life and it's always been an uncertain answer. My friends seem to think she's interested but afraid to go anywhere with it. Any thoughts???
milly Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 I agree with ur friends, i think, from the flirting and arm touching that she likes you. and like ur friends said - is too shy to take it further. Bit confused bout the making stuff up about the weekend?? maybe i missed the point?
