Friends with Benefits Out of a FRESH Relationship

My friend has been talking to this guy for 3 weeks, they went on a great couple of dates and she really likes him a lot. But after a recent date this guy, tells her "Well I got out of a serious relationship 3-4 months ago and I don't want a new relationship BUT I want friends with benefits and sex".

 

So now my friend is hurt and feels embarrassed about this whole thing. What should she do? She really liked the guy and now she is hurting.

She should cut contact and search for someone who wants the same things she does.

Why hurt? The guy didn't use her, told her the truth, that's respect and consideration for her feelings. So she instilled respect and consideration in someone. That's a good thing, not a time to be hurt. Next option may be the one on the same page with her. She didn't waste time in something that wasn't going to happen, also a good thing.

She's hurt because she really liked this guy and thought that they were going to become a couple so hearing this from the guy made her sad etc.

Well i can understand how she feels. But my situation is slightly diffet

rent, me and the guy talk pretty good and i like him alot, but hes constantly busy and hardly has time to do anything atm, but i honestly can say i dnt feel like having a relationship, would it be wise to be a FWB ? Even tho im attached alrdy ? I mean all im looking for right now is some fun and sex.

I think it's a good thing that he was honest before sex. She should move on.
