I dated this guy 3 years ago, we didn't date for long (6 months, knew each other for 3 years), but at the time I had strong feelings for him and really really liked him. Well, he broke up with me because he didn't have "those" feelings. I was hurt and heartbroken for awhile and less than a week later he was already dating new girls. I eventually moved on, mainly because I went NC. He has attempted several times over the past 3 years to try and be my friend, but I never had any interest in doing so.

 

Well today he messaged me and his true feelings came out, he said, "I really wish you could give us a try. I really like you, you are an amazing girl. Give me a chance. I'm sorry I messed up back then."

 

You know how when you are heartbroken and you wonder if your ex will ever come back and what you would say to them if they did and how happy you would be?

 

Well guess what, I just told him to f.ck off. (Well, in a lady like way) And I don't feel anything! I am 100% indifferent and would never take him back! And I actually find him utterly unattractive, like what did I see him!?

 

This is your hope. We will all move on, only if we choose to.

 

And when they come back, and some will, it will always be too late.

 

I seem to always have the ex's that come back after they realized what they lost. HMMM...

My ex left me over a year ago.. i begged and pleaded, and initially couldn't wait for her to come back to me.. I knew she would eventually, I had a feeling. Sure enough 6 months after we broke up, (and after her and the guy she left me for broke up) she came to me begging and pleading and crying asking if I had any feelings for her.. Unfortunately for her i had moved on and had no interest in her what so ever. Funny how the tables turn.. A lot of ex's come back. But they seem to come back right when the other moves on. Even If i was the loneliest person on earth I wouldn't go back with my ex. Now that the pain is gone I can look at our relationship objectively and see that it suck and we were not compatible.
