I'd REALLY love to see you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior so that you can receive eternal life. I hope that you are at least open to talking to him about this, exploring God, and asking questions. I know you have been hurt, but you have hardened your heart agaisnt God. Not good at all. It doesn't work to have a relationship with a guy whom you have such a very different fundamental belief system than him. If he is very passionate about his beliefs, then he is going to want someone who shares those same beliefs with him.

It can work - but both partners have to be willing to respect the other's opinion and not try to inflict their own beliefs on the other (even when one view is based on logic and evidence and the other is based on, well, nothing meaningful). My mum's a Quaker and my dad's an atheist. But they've been married for 40 years. IF he's going to try to convert you, then I agree it won't work. But see how it goes - he might be reasonable about it. Maybe.
