Have posted a couple of things on here abou this but this will be the final..

In a nutshell

- met this guy at work

- started flirting via text etc

- met for a dinner/ drinks

(Then didnt hear anything for days, I got worried)

- we get back in contact

- flirting starts up again big time

- he tells me he likes me lots and all that...

- weeks on, it's TOTALLY died off!!!

- he suggested another 'date', I said yes. Then tried to arrange something. He declined the date.. (After suggesting it first!) which annoyed me cos I couldn't believe it

- hes still gone off completely. Awkward as we work together so it makes me feel on edge just doing that breif polite smile at each other and the "hi"...!

Can anyone see why I'm confused?! He leads me on big time, then just disappears now we act like we are strangers around each other and I'm a little embarrased :-/

Any advice would be good

Sorry to be a bummer, but this sounds like it's going nowhere. I would just forgot this person as a potential date. He blows you off and disappears. Who needs that?

He's waiting for you to get all interested and then dump you. Move on before it's too late.

..... Yeah it looks that way. Such a shame cos I know he's a naturally shy man. But to behave the way he has, isn't acceptable and as adults, who needs that!

I have noticed him clocking me though, when I've been talking/laughing with other guys at work. I'm not trying to make him jealous, but I just wish I knew why he did this :( I really like him!

I wouldn't cut him any slack just because he's shy. That is no excuse to jerk people around. Keep it work-only until he shows he's worth your time outside of work hours.
