As far as I know, all of Perelman's other wives were older than 30 as well. He has said he likes strong women and most of his wives seem to have had successful careers before and after they met him. I suspect Leisure lives in the boondocks where both men and women over 30 are grandparents who aspire to be future reality stars. Leisure is just exaggerating. The fact is that generally men do prefer women who are young and beautiful. But when it comes to life partner such as a wife they still also need to consider commonality. A 50 year old man marrying a 25 year old woman runs the risk of spending life with someone with whom he has zero in common despite the benefits of sexual satisfaction and social status. So in order to find a middle ground he chooses a 35 year old woman instead for example who is young and beautiful enough in comparison to his own age and also have more in common with him.
