am i overthinking

So me and my gf of 3 years have had some issues the last 6 weeks which might purely be a thing I made up. Anyways she has a co worker friend who lives in another city 8 hrs away and in the last 3 months there amount of contact with each has increased constant. Calling and texting. I'm usually present and I've never heard anything myself but I've seen some texts that I've found questionable I've seen texts where they say good morning sunshine and end a night with sweet dreams, I know this isn't I love u baby buts its puzzling. She seems distant around even tho she's been better I still have my doubts. I do trust her buts him I don't even tho he's 10 years older and married for 20 years. I have asked her if she has feelings for him she says no, she says he's happily married and she's been nothing but faithful and she loves me, its our only form of communication and she isn't gonna stop talking to him. am I being paranoid or am I getting played like a fool" any advice please

That is not normal. There is no way I would text *anyone* other than my partner things like that.

 

I'm not saying they're cheating (yet) - but it's definitely not normal behaviour.

Sounds like he wants more than just a text buddy being that he's married and knows she's in a relationship.

why do you trust her so much but not him when she is participating in this as much as he is? Do you think her "sweet dreams" and "good morning sunshine" texts are innocent and naive? Is your gf very stupid or something to the point that she wouldn't realize how saying those things looks to a man? Is your gf very stupid and thinks a man texting her those things is innocent?

You guys aren't 5 yr olds, obviously this is totally shady and inappropriate.
