Author O'farrell Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 Lol you did say women can't tell and that you will only look thinner, that's bs. Right cloth means not wearing baggy cloth. Any shirt that fits you right will show that you have a good body, some more than others. This is something you can easily change about yourself yet you prefer to whine about being short. I love tall men but even I take a short fit guy over a tall fat or lanky guy any day. They would have to be super tight to show muscle definition. (different from muscle mass) 1
mesmerized Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 They would have to be super tight to show muscle definition. (different from muscle mass) Literally all the men I have met who visit the gym often and eat reasonably right easily show their body types in cloth. Obviously it's going to take a while to get to that point but the end result will be worth it.

The kind that doesn't always show up behind a shirt. I know a lot of skinny black guys who are ripped to shreds but weigh 140 pounds. Are you saying you would be able to tell if they had nice bodies?

Lol well skinny toned guys are generally not my type unless they're taller. I probably can't tell if they are ripped to shreds but I still can tell if they work out and are lean. I like a nice body on men so I notice and see little things. How is this helping somedude? He needs to get noticed based on his body now that his height and face don't get enough attention. Working out and getting bigger will certainly increase his odds.
MrCastle Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Let us divert this thread back to its intended purpose. Did you know that the average man is 5'9? Did you know that most couples in real life are about 3-4 inches different? I live in downtown san francisco. Unless someone here if from new York I don't see how they can see more couples. I read somewhere that girls prefer medium height men the most attractive. (5'9-5'11) I know there are going to be some women who will say they prefer tall on the internet. However' date=' maybe these women aren't feminine enough in the real world so they need a super tall guy to make them feel feminine? Maybe the heightists the internet is flooded by are overweight, tall themselves, or have huge feet? lol[/quote'] I live in NY and I've seen all there is to see. If you can think it up in your head, I've seen it. I think most typically is couples around the same height as each other. If the girl is tall, her boyfriend is usually tall. If the girl is short, the man is too. If the girl is average, the man is too. That's just how it is the majority of the time. Very rarely do you see a huge dude with a little girl or a tall girl with a significantly shorter man. It does happen but that's not very common. If this idea that tall men were the most desirable, we'd see all women with them. We'd see tall men with short women, tall men with average women, tall men with tall women. We're not seeing that. We're seeing like with like. The other part of this too is, tall, like short, is an outlier. Like I always say, average is average for a reason. Most people fall into this. Very rarely in your day to day life do you see someone and say "wow he/she is so tall!" or "wow he/she is so short!". So even if all women wanted tall men and only tall men 1.) They are hard to find 2.) There are not many of them since they are statistical outliers I'd say it's the same for men and the female body. We all want a girl with cartoon sized ass, tits, and a non existent waist right? But most girls don't fit that. Some do, but they are outliers. What are men gonna do, not date until they find a girl that looks like she was drawn by a horny 15 year old? No, they are going to date women that have average body types, i.e. the majority of women. Beggers can't be choosers, as they say.

I really don't know where you got that from.

mesmerized Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Huh. I'm confused. You said seeing taller men with short or average women is rare. It's not.
MrCastle Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 You said seeing taller men with short or average women is rare. It's not. It is in comparison to how many average height men I see with short or average, and again, that's because tallies are a statistical outlier. You simply do not see them that often.

mesmerized Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Aaaaaaaand....I just got myself a date with a 6'7" guy. This is gonna be funny.
silicone Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Aaaaaaaand....I just got myself a date with a 6'7" guy. This is gonna be funny. The reason you posted that was because? To me, someone posting stats of their other signifies a deep insecurity within themselves. Or was that a joke? Either way, your court. 2
silicone Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Well, I'm a mere midget at 5'0. My guy is 5'7". When I wear 4" heels, we're almost as tall as each other. I prefer shorter men. 6' tall is too tall. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 5'0" + 4in = 5'4"? Thus, you'd be 3" shorter than your husband. Either the heels are wrong, or your height is wrong or he's shorter than you think he is. On another note... let's use the metric system. It's somewhat more satisfying to hear people say that they prefer men to be 183cm or more or less etc. PS, Just_A_Poster - not taking a jab at you, I'm naturally inquisitive and masterful. 1
rocketman122 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 As far as dating goes a shorter than average body can get toned and build muscle mass quicker than a tall lengthy body this is a long topic by itself. there are no set rules. I have to be spot on to grow muscle. my diet is impeccable and training is perfect.what you say is true if both were to have the same genetic makeup and would build muscle at the same rate. it will take more time to show on the taller man but once the tall man keeps at it, its not only more aesthetic but very impressive and intimidating. for proper bodybuilding aesthetics the proper height is 178-183cm. when a short guy gets big, he will look shorter but when a tall guy gets big he looks so much bigger and taller. thats why in bodybuilding contests it doesnt happen often that the short guy wins the "best of the best"

rocketman122 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I really haven't seen anyone at either end of the spectrum :/ explain please.
silicone Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 explain please. I haven't seen a really wide short man or a well filled taller man.
silicone Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Where do you live? Set foot in any gym in any big US city and you'll see several examples of both. I've lived in So. California, Hollywood, Florida/Melbourne and now I'm back in my hometown, the UK, in the very south, 5 mins from the beach.
silicone Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Well, speaking from experience, you're definitely not going to find many of them there lol! Anyway, they're ubiquitous here. I haven't spent that much time in San Diego, but I also don't occupy most of my time in the gym or heavily populated areas. Now that I'm working, and flying in the morning, my general day-to-day operations are surrounded by the same people.

Revolver Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) Being short for a man is like being fat for a woman. They can get into relationships and can have successful lives they're just not the ideal for most people in the world. Most men don't want a fat GF and most women don't want to date a short guy, it is what it is. Also this thread is a perfect example of the "men can't really comment on their dating woes/Problem" phenomenon. I always found this interesting Edited December 15, 2012 by Revolver 1
silicone Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Because it was related to the topic? it was just funny that it happened when I was talking about height here. I don't even like that height, too tall. That wouldn't have been the smartest thing to say on an already fragile and imperative subject. The tallest I've met is 6'5", I ended up topping him. We are very sexually compatible, it's just a shame that he threw drama fits when I entered a relationship. Being short for a man is like being fat for a woman. They can get into relationships and can have successful lives they're just not the ideal for most people in the world. Most men don't want a fat GF and most women don't want to date a short guy, it is what it is. And a woman can lose fat.

I dont mind girls with some weight on them. fat, no. a little chubby. ok. my ex wife had a rear on her. over time she got skinny. as long as im attracted to the person, whether theyre skinny or have a tummy doesnt bother me. I do enjoy hugging skinny girls though. they fit better in my arms but no big deal.

This forum is full of men complaining and they do so as well in real life. There is no such phenomenon. Verzhen and other women who post about their problems here get the same treatment if not worse.
