imbafl Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 We have been together for 19 months and living together for 17 months. When we first started dating he wanted to get married. I wasn't sure if I ever would want to again. Now it has been 19 mths and I want to get married. When the topic is approached he says he wants it to be a surprise when it happens. How long should I wait? He and I are both 36 and this would be his 3rd and my 2nd. I don't know if he is stringing me along now that he has me or if he really does plan on marriage. What do I do? Suggestions please.
