I broke up with my ex about 8 months ago and he imediately jumped into a relationship , while he was in the relationship he kept begging me to take him back for 4 months.I didn't take him back because i was seeing someone else , however 4 months later i decided to give it another try , I then called him and we met and he told me he was still very much in love with me and is happy that i would consider giving him a second chance. So my question is would we still consider him to be in a rebound relationship even after 8 months. culd he be in love with this girl ???

He begged you back, clearly it was a rebound in a way.

yes, he could be in love with the girl. people are allowed to have feelings for multiple people at the same time.

Rebounds don't typically last very long. The fact that he is sneaking around and being dishonest to his current gf speaks volumes about his character, though.

Yes, he could be in love with her.

My sister got divorced and a month later she was dating a new guy. They were together for 5 years. When that relationship ended, she was with a new guy 2 months later. 10 years later they are still happily married with a 6 year old boy.

Some people go from relationship to relationship without a long grieving period in between. I am not saying that is the case with your ex, but it is possible. Oh, and for the first year or so of her current relationship, she was still thinking, missing and talking to and about her ex.
